Local Konnect – Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Local Konnect! These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access and use of our mobile app and services. By booking any service on the Local Konnect Customer App, you agree to the terms below. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Overview of Services
Local Konnect is a digital platform connecting customers in Tier 2, 3, and 4 cities with trusted local service providers for:
- On Demand Salon Services
- Parcel Delivery & Pickup Services
- Taxi/Ride Booking for personal or business transport
- Car/Bike Wash Services at your location or designated centers
Local Konnect acts as a facilitator and aggregator and does not directly provide these services.
2. User Eligibility
- You must be 18 years or older or have parental consent to use the platform.
- You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and refrain from misusing services.
3. User Account
- To book services, you must create a verified account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
- Report any unauthorized use of your account immediately to Local Konnect support.
4. Booking & Fulfillment
- All bookings are subject to provider availability.
- Timings are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, or other unforeseen factors.
- You must provide accurate details for the address, contact, and booking time.
- Failure to be available during booking time may result in cancellation without refund.
4A. Organizer GST Declaration
I/We, the Organizer, do hereby confirm and acknowledge that I/We are a supplier providing services through the
Local Konnect platform under the applicable provisions of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (“GST Laws”).
I/We confirm that I/We are not registered under the GST Act, since our annual turnover is below the prescribed
threshold limit of ₹20 Lakhs (supplier providing only services).
I/We further confirm that any applicable taxes collected on the tickets booked through Local Konnect’s platform
(www.localkonnect.com), its mobile application, and/or other authorized sales channels shall be our sole liability,
and the same shall be duly discharged by us.
I/We acknowledge that the information furnished above is true and correct to the best of my/our knowledge, and I/We
shall be bound by this declaration. In the event any of the above information is found to be false or incorrect at a
later stage, my/our membership with Local Konnect shall stand cancelled, and any payment or unprocessed bill shall
be withheld by Local Konnect on the basis of the statements given herein.
I/We shall indemnify and hold harmless Local Konnect, its officers, representatives, affiliates, successors, and assigns
against all costs, penalties, damages, losses, charges, or liabilities incurred in relation to any claim arising pursuant to:
- Breach, violation, or non-compliance of any of the provisions contained in this declaration.
- Any act of omission or commission pursuant to which any of the representations given herein become untrue.
- Violation of any applicable law, including GST laws.
- Non-compliance with GST laws.
- Any investigations, inquiries, summons, or inspections conducted by any statutory authority.
I/We further undertake the responsibility to promptly inform Local Konnect of any subsequent changes in the constitution,
ownership, or operation of my/our business entity, which may affect the accuracy of the information and declarations
provided herein.
5. Payments
- Service prices are listed in the app and may vary by provider or time slot.
- Payments can be made via UPI, Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, Wallet, or Cash on Delivery (COD).
- Local Konnect is not responsible for payment failures due to third-party gateways.
6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- You may cancel a booking before the provider starts the service without charge.
- Cancellation after service initiation may result in partial or full charges.
- Refunds (if eligible) are processed per our Refund Policy.
- For Salon and Car/Bike Wash: No refund for completed services.
- For Parcel or Taxi Bookings: Refunds allowed if pickup/delivery doesn’t happen due to provider error.
7. Vendor Conduct & Third-Party Services
- Local Konnect ensures vendors are verified and trained but does not guarantee outcomes.
- Vendor misbehavior must be reported via the Help section.
- Services booked via third parties (e.g., taxi, logistics) are subject to their own policies.
8. Offers, Discounts & K Coins
- Promotional offers and referral programs are time-bound and may change.
- “K Coins” are digital rewards earned for every booking and can be redeemed for discounts.
- K Coins are non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash.
9. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Misuse, abuse, or defraud the app or its service partners.
- Post or share inappropriate, defamatory, or abusive content.
- Interfere with app operations through unauthorized access.
10. Hygiene & Safety Protocols
- All service providers follow hygiene and safety protocols.
- Contactless services are available on request.
- Service feedback and complaints are taken seriously.
11. Liability Limitation
- Local Konnect is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss due to third-party services.
- Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected service.
12. Intellectual Property
- All content on the app (text, images, logos, software) is owned by Local Konnect.
- Unauthorized use, copying, or distribution is strictly prohibited.
13. Privacy Policy
Your use of Local Konnect is subject to our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect and use your data.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Users will be notified via the app or email. Continued use after updates implies acceptance.
15. Account Suspension or Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for misuse or breach of these terms.
16. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Indian laws. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of courts located in Rajasthan.
